My love of animals came to me at a very young age and was nurtured by my large, loving family who always had dogs around. I spent my summers with my grandfather in Spain, where he bred and raised bulls and where I learned the basics of breeding.

At the age of 17, I purchased my first dog – a Portuguese Water Dog. After sharing my life with a few other breeds I finally found the Labrador Retriever.

In 2007, I purchased my second show Lab, Tabatha’s Glacieridge Joey. With this dog I learned to love competing in the show ring. Little did I know then how my life was about to change. After Joey, I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase some great dogs from people who have shared their lines with me. This helped me build a team of quality dogs I share my life with today.

Loretta Labs was eventually born out of my passion for Labradors and love of competition. My mission is to breed beautiful Labs that make wonderful family companions, excel in the show ring and live long, healthy lives.

My dogs have proper health clearances before they are bred – including orthopedic, eye and heart clearances, as well as EIC and PRA. My dogs are kept in large yards with shelter and space to run, swim and play. I feed only the best quality food and make sure my dogs have plenty of exercise and most importantly – are loved!
